Innovative Waterproofing.

Water damage is one of the biggest problems facing property owners. Without the proper repair and maintenance, water infiltration can undermine the structural integrity of your building, parking areas and decks.

At TG Basile, we provide an array of solutions for controlling the movement of moisture into your structure. Utilizing the most current technology available and over 40 years of experience in the industry, we can evaluate the reasons for the problem and offer long-lasting and cost-effective treatments.

We employ various methods, such as exterior waterproofing, sealants and joint systems, flashing, leak investigation and detection, EIFS repair and installation, clear aesthetic coatings, to not only find the causes for moisture buildup, but also protect against environmental and aesthetic impacts. Working in this way, we can remedy the problem and make sure that the integrity of your structure’s design remains intact, leaving a small footprint on the surrounding property.

Wet Basement Solutions.

Basement water problems have been and will continue to be a problem for most homeowners and business owners until the water is managed or redirected. The building methods of developers from the turn of the last century until the 1990’s have created basement water penetration, effecting quality of living and costing homeowners and business owners billions of dollars in property damage and health related issues. However, under the newly revised building codes, technology has finally caught up with the new building industry. At TG Basile Mason Contractors and Waterproofing, we specialize in proven interior and exterior waterproofing and water management solutions for old and new construction.

Causes of Wet and Leaking Basements.

High Water Table
Rain, melting snow or underground springs will contribute to the water table rising around your home. This can result in a build up of water pressure beneath the floor and against foundation walls.

Capillary Attraction
Whenever water contracts a porous surface like a concrete floor or wall, it’s natural for the moisture to be soaked up like a sponge. The continuous pressure exerted from the outside causes the walls and floors to store water like a reservoir, ready to burst.

Hydrostatic Pressure
The higher the level of water around a home, the greater the pressure on the water to seek entry into the basement through cracks and crevices in walls and floors. Initially, this water may enter and rest only in the block or the pours of the concrete, creating damp floors and walls.

Settlement
As the ground settles around a home, the foundation and its parging shield can shift or crack, allowing water to flow into and beneath your walls and floors.
